El Nasr Co for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC) entrusted Nuberg in August 2017 the engineering and construction of a hydrogen peroxide plant in Giza, Egypt, from concept to commissioning, with a contract for technology. The $17.76mn turnkey project will manufacture hydrogen peroxide with production capacity of 70 tonnes per day. In June 2017, Nuberg was chosen by Egyptian Petrochemicals Company as a single-point solution company, from concept to commissioning, for its caustic soda-chlorine plant in Alexandria, Egypt.
The contract envisions setting up a turnkey project, having production capacity of 228tpd (tonnes per day) with a provision to expand it to 342tpd in future. Nuberg won a calcium chloride plant project in September 2016 on engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), and LSTK basis in Port Said, Egypt, from TCI Sanmar Chemicals. The calcium chloride turnkey project is valued at $20mn. In March 2016, Nuberg won an EPCM project from Emirates Chemical Factory of Saif Al Khaili Group. The $76mn project envisions to set-up a 150tpd chlor-alkali/ caustic chlorine plant in Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi, UAE, which will produce caustic soda, chlorine, sodium hypochlorite and hydrochloric acid.
